Status: Finished

Heavy rain initially delayed the start of the race by 40 minutes. The subsequent starting procedure was suspended under red flags after several cars experienced technical problems during two formation laps behind the safety car. The race eventually started 93 minutes later than scheduled. Verstappen converted his pole position into his first victory of the season, and Ford's first victory as an engine supplier since the 2003 Brazilian Grand Prix. Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) finished second, and Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) finished third, the latter after experiencing early issues. Antonelli's teammate George Russell retired due to a power unit issue.
